We are going racing under the lights at the paper clip knowns as Martinsville. Tonight the lights will come on and the tempers of the drivers are sure to flare. Bubba Wallace said before race…“Today that this is one of the biggest races for him after making a stand and using his platform to help make changes” Was his thoughts after a wild couple of weeks in our nation.

Austin Dillon has a right rear go down and the crush panels were broken. He already has a driver on standby because his family is expecting the birth of a child this week. With the crush panels being knocked out this can allow fumes into the car. Joey Gase appears to have a battery of some kind come out of his car while under caution. Drivers are battling back and forth for positions all over the track. Multiple drivers are already at least one lap or more around twenty positions and back. Timmy Hill stalled on pit road and Joey Logano led us to end of the first stage with another stage win.

Joey Logano brings us back to green for stage two. The track conditions with the changes from daylight to night will change how cars and the track operate. But we got a new driver up front with less than forty to go, Jimmie Johnson is leading laps at Martinsville. This has been a great green flag racing throughout stage two. In the battle to the end of the stage, and what appears some possible bumping coming out of turn four Jimmie wins his stage two.

Ryan Blaney after having a some what great start then falling back leads us to green for the final stage of the race. Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano are battling back and forth to lead laps. It Erik Jones could not see where he was going and him and David Star made contact. Bringing out only the sixth caution of the evening.

After the caution, Blaney has fallen back and Joey Logano has made his way back to the front. However, not without competition from Brad Keselowski who fights his way to lead. But watch out the man until roughly last year who had an issue with short track winning, Martin Truex Jr has made his way to the lead. Quin Houff got loose and ended up in the wall. With less than a hundred to go that could have been the last stop that the drivers make. Austin Dillon was helped from his car during the caution due to extreme heat where the crunch panels got messed up. They have also taken his car behind the wall. He is being taken to infield care center for evaluation and treatment. Martin Truex Jr kept his lead and will win again at Martinsville.
