#7 Virginia Wins Sixth Straight Game, Defeats Boston College 76-57 (1-28-23)

CHARLOTTESVILLE-The #7 team in the country, the Virginia Cavaliers (15-3, 7,2 ACC) hosted ACC foe Boston College (10-12, 4-6 ACC) Saturday afternoon. The Cavaliers were looking to grab their sixth straight win and 10th win at home this season. Virginia had won three straight games over Boston College, and by the end of the day, that streak would be extended to four games.
The Cavaliers would defeat the Eagles 76-57 grabbing their 16th win of the season. Jayden Gardner and Armaan Franklin led the Cavaliers with 18 points a piece. Isaac McKneely (12 points) & Reece Beekman (11 points) helped push the Cavaliers to victory. The Cavaliers were able to do a little bit of everything. Virginia went 10 of 10 from the free throw line, put up 30 points in the paint, and scored 20 points off the bench. It was a complete game for the Cavaliers. For Boston College, Quinton Post (24 points) & Makai Ashton-Langford (12 points) led the way for the Eagles in the loss.
The Virginia Cavaliers (16-3) will head to Syracuse (13-9) to take on the Orangemen at 7 pm EST from JMA Wireless Dome.
