LA Rams Sneaky Super Bowl Team

The famous saying goes as follows: “It’s not how you start, but rather how you finish.” Another saying is this: “If you’re not first, then you’re last.” Perhaps you may like this saying better: “Just get in.” Yes, the LA Rams are just a few seasons removed from being Super Bowl Champions. It is hard to win and be successful every year. What’s even harder is to duplicate the same success and level of dominance year to year. Look at the Philadelphia Eagles. They were close to being undefeated for an entire season last year. Now, they look like they don’t even know who they are anymore. You can also look at the Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow looked like the next Tom Brady. Now, the offense is struggling and the Bengals look like they may have lost their mojo and their window of opportunity. Speaking of opportunity, that is all the LA Rams need. They have been holding on quite well this year to start without the Pro Bowler WR Cooper Kupp. Two weekends ago, he dominated the Eagles. This past weekend, he dominated the Arizona Cardinals and even scored his first touchdown of the season. This Rams team is good. If they get hot at the right time, the league better watch out. They’re a team no one would want to play. Matt Stafford and company held it down while Cupp was rehabbing. Stafford led the league in passing yards per game for a little while during his absence. Rookies RB Kyren Williams and WR Puka Nacua looked like veterans all season long. Not to mention, the Rams still have Aaron Donald on their team. The Rams look good and they are just getting started.

San Francisco 49ers Look Human, For Once

All season long, it has been the San Francisco Show! They have looked unbelievable and unbeatable. Brock Purdy has looked comfortable in the pocket. He has had a good amount of time to get that ball to the open playmakers too! The O-Line has had his back for sure. Even if they failed in their protection, Brock has been able to make plays with his legs to scramble out of the pocket and hit Deebo Samuels for a deep ball. He has been able to find George Kittle up the middle. Certainly, Brock Purdy has been able to find Christian McCaffrey from everyone on the field. However, injuries have got to them all including Trent Williams and it forced Brock Purdy to win this game on his own with just George Kittle. Kittle has been banged up a lot over the years. As a matter of fact, so has Deebo Samuels and Christian McCaffrey. Without Deebo and CMC, this team looked very average as they suffered their first loss of the season against the Cleveland Browns who were without their starting quarterback DeShaun Watson due to injury. The 49ers looked human for once. While this group of guys are still a talented bunch, if they suffer any type of injury to Deebo, but especially Christian McCaffrey, then this team becomes a very beatable team in the NFC. This goes to make many people wonder, is Brock Purdy who we thought he was?
