Musical Chairs In New York

One of the worse feelings in the world is when things go from bad to worse. You can be in a good situation to begin with, and then suddenly you find your world crashing down right before your very eyes. That was the case for the New York Jets. They were able to trade for a Hall of Fame Quarterback in Aaron Rodgers. He didn’t play much in the preseason to protect his health. He’s 40 and been in the league for quite awhile. He plays his very first regular season snap for the Jets and there is the Achilles Injury. The Jets even made sure to provide him with plenty of weapons this season. Zach WIlson had his chance and fumbled the bag this season. He simply didn’t play well. He didn’t necessarily play awful. However, he wasn’t able to make anything happen with the offense. The Jets decided to pull the plug on him and insert Tim Boyle. He got the start against the Falcons over the weekend. He didn’t look good either as he threw a pick in this game so the Jets then turned to Trevor Siemian. He looked even worse as he couldn’t move the ball and fumbled three times in this game. While Aaron Rodgers is miraculously back at practice and may be able to return soon, the Jets are once again looking at Zach Wilson to start. He doesn’t even want to start or play. His confidence in himself may be down but most importantly and notably, his confidence in the team seems to be down as well. We can’t blame him there. The O-Line is terrible and they don’t have a running game either. The Jets should be very careful about rushing back Aaron Rodgers as this team is playing musical chairs at the Quarterback Position.

Mike Evans Is A Hall Of Famer

Mike Evans has been through a lot throughout his 10 Season NFL Career. He has had some seasons where he was ready for the year to be over with. Then, he had some seasons where he couldn’t wait to get back on the field every week. That came from playing with Tom Brady whom he won a Super Bowl with. However, he has had some seasons where the Quarterback Play hasn’t been as great as Tom Brady. Those guys include Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jameis Winston, and now Baker Mayfield. Despite not having great play at QB every season, Mike Evans has still managed to play extremely well. As a matter of fact, he has notched over 1,000+ receiving yards in every season he has played in the NFL. He has a total of 91 touchdowns at the moment and is still counting in that department as well. Not to mention, Mike Evans is as tough as nails. He has been banged up basically the majority of his career. Despite dealing with injuries, he still laces up his cleats every week and plays hard the entire game. Mike Evans deserves a spot in the NFL Hall of Fame, especially with a Super Bowl victory as well.
