The Monarchs took their show on the road this past weekend as they went to Coastal Carolina to take on the Chanticleers. It was a game that was up for grabs as both team’s offense was clicking on all cylinders.

ODU made a change at Quarterback as Colton Joseph made the start in this game. The burning question in everyone’s mind is if Joseph is the right man for this job. It looked like it this past weekend as he passed for 262 yards on 22/40 passing for the game. Colton Joseph was even able to make things happen with his legs as he scored a rushing touchdown which gave him four total touchdowns.

Despite scoring so many points and the offense looking much improved, ODU loss 45-37 to Coastal Carolina. The tipping factor was the turnovers they committed. Colton Joseph threw a pick and committed two fumble losses too. Despite the offense looking much improved, there is still a lot of kinks to work out. ODU has to do better with taking care of the football moving forward. The Monarchs will visit Georgia State this weekend to take on the Panthers Saturday October 12th at 3:30 PM ET.
