Dream Cruise Past Mystics (6-16-25)

WASHINGTON D.C. – The Washington Mystics dropped its matchup Sunday afternoon against the Atlanta Dream, 89-56 at CareFirst Arena. Atlanta guard Allisha Gray scored a career-high 32 points, shooting 10-of-14 from the field and making six 3-pointers.
Atlanta (8-3) set a new franchise high by making 18 total threes in the game, guiding them to a dominant 33-point victory. Washington’s (4-7) offense struggled, shooting 29.5 % from the field and only hitting 3-for-17 from behind the arc.









Rhyne Howard scored 14 points, becoming the fastest player in league history to 300 career points. Te-Hina Paopao added 16 points with five assists off the bench for the Dream.
After scoring the first 16 points coming out of halftime, Atlanta ran away with the game.
The Mystics had one double-digit scorer in rookie Sonia Citron with 10 points. Not one starter had a plus rating when on the floor.
The Dream are winners of their last three games and have won seven of their past eight.
