We open up the Fall run of Talladega with the number three of Dale Earnhardt Sr being drove by Richard Childress. The goosebumps for all the fans of the number three. While Hendrick started one through four it did not stay that way long. It appears that they will be doing tandem racing and as of right now are not going with manufacturers. Pitting with numbers will be key to make sure drivers do not lose a lap. The Toyota group is massively out numbered so the question right now is if they are working with the Fords to out do the Chevy’s. Ryan Blaney got loose getting onto pit road. He had a major spin right there that could have been horrible. The second wave was Toyota and Chevy’s. On top of the spin Ryan Blaney got hit with too fast entering pit road. Spencer Boyd had something happen as his car has stopped on the apron of the track. Erik Jones is having an issue with a tire that blew. We have a race with two lines. Teammates pushing teammates with four wide coming to the end of stage one for position.

We open stage two much calmer than expected. Denny Hamlin already stated that if you want to get up front you are going to have to be willing to work with other people. That is going to be a key to making it through stage two and three. Along with no huge blocking. Chevy had a meeting to work with other Chevy drivers and to take care of the Chevy’s in the play offs. This will probably prove to be more difficult in stage three. With about five los to go things start to get very close. Joey Logano gave a huge shove to Alex Bowman and sent him spinning with four laps to go in stage two. This wreck involves: Kyle Larson, Martin Truex Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Chase Elliott, and a couple other drivers. We will finish stage two under caution. The stage two winner is Clint Bowyer.

Stage three is bound to be wide after that last crash. Drivers are fighting to stay in the playoffs and get the points they need. Look for the big one to happen in stage three. We het a caution for debris and that is going to help some drivers not have to deal with green flag stops. With less than forty to go you start trying to make deals with other drivers to hopefully get you both to win. Clint Bowyer gets spun out and everyone makes what can be a final stop for the race. The biggest issues is going to be avoiding any potential accidents. William Byron got a huge push that sent him spinning which collected other drivers including Joey Logano. If thus is any indication the last twenty laps are going to be slammed with action. We follow it up with another caution for Daniel Suarez. We get back to racing with just about twelve laps. There are a lot of drivers losing hood flaps at Talladega. There is a load of action happening all around the track. We have drivers three wide with seven to go. The big one happens with six to go and sends Brendan Gaughan gets airborne and thankfully lands back on all four tires. We end up with a red flag to allow for clean up since there is only six laps to go. We will end up with a two lap shootout and Ryan Blaney seals his position in the next round of the Chase.
