Do you happen to have any siblings? Perhaps you’re the older brother or sister. Or maybe you’re the middle child. Often, kids are spoiled. Let’s face it, this is America and kids get everything they want. When kids are the subjects of our lives, they’re bound to get everything. They get all of our attention, the last slice of pizza, maybe even a very generous allowance too. And when parents decide to expand the family, the other siblings usually get a bit jealous. Not in Golden State with the warriors! Steph Curry, returning from a crucial injury managed to make it back to the lineup just in time for the start of their postseason run. His return came at a price though. He’s been coming off of the bench. Steph Curry is now THE Best 3 Point Shooter EVER. He also is a 2x MVP, All NBA Superstar 3x NBA Champion. There isn’t any jealousy here. He’s a 3x Champion. He knows what it takes to win. Let’s move down the line. Klay Thompson. He’s been injured over the last couple of years. He’s been watching from the sidelines possible potential replacements for his position. He has seen DeAngelo Russell come who is a former All-Star. Also, Andrew Wiggins came and he’s still there. He made the all-star game and even started for the Western Team. Normally, like a big brother, this would cause some form of jealousy too. Maybe even a bit of animosity or resentment. Especially in the case of the up-and-coming emerging star, Jordan Poole.

Jordan Poole has been around for a few years now. In his rookie season, we knew he belonged in the league. He was someone who could make shots. He was someone to who Coach Steve Kerr knew he had to give more opportunities. With Klay missing so much time over the years, the opportunity presented itself and now Jordan Poole is the frontrunner for winning the Most Improved Player of the Year Award. Klay Thompson has gone on wax to say that Jordan Poole reminds him of a Baby Steph. Poole has won games single-handedly this year for the Warriors. He also has led the team in scoring in a lot of games this year too. Klay also went on to say “It doesn’t make any sense if Jordan Poole doesn’t win MIP this season.” Steph, Klay, and Poole combined for 84 Points in their Game 2 victory vs. the Denver Nuggets the other night. They shot a combined 31-52. They are indeed a triplet of Splash Brothers! Jordan Poole has emerged as the newborn splash brother and his emergence, opens the window of being true contenders in the Western Conference for this club. Steph and Klay have been nothing but supportive to Jordan Poole. Steph has been willing to come off the bench when needed to. And Klay has been willing to take a back seat even after being away from the game for so long. Jordan Poole is the real deal and Warriors GM Bob Myers better have his checkbook out to pay that man soon.
