The only thing the Trojans were yet to display this season is an aerial attack to gain a victory and that is no longer the case as Jordan Davis erupts for 310 yards on 15-24 passing with 2 touchdowns. The Trojans looked great heading into a tough matchup against Bowie State next weekend so this was listed as a trap game but that was not the case. The defense continued to cause havoc as they totaled 6 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, and an interception.
After three quarters the Trojans were up 35-6. This is setting up a great matchup for this upcoming game as Virginia State, Virginia Union, and Bowie State are all in the mix for the Northern Division Championship. The Panthers of Virginia Union are ranked 24th and have one loss, so you wonder if the Trojans will crack the top 25 this upcoming week. The Trojans are the only team in the CIAA still undefeated and will be tested this week as they head north up to Maryland for the showdown at 2 p.m.
