MVP Favorite Revealed

The MVP Award always seems to go to Quarterbacks. The NFL really ought to consider making a new award specifically for Quarterbacks for who had the best season in the AFC and the NFC. Guys like Christian McCaffrey and Tyreke Hill deserve a lot of consideration for the MVP Award. Even guys like Myles Garrett and Trent Williams and perhaps Jason Kelce should be considered for the MVP Award as well. However, we know a Quarterback will once again win this award. Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Jalen Hurts are your clear favorites at the moment. Lamar Jackson had won this award before. Mahomes has too, as he won both the regular season MVP and the Super Bowl MVP Award last season. Jalen Hurts was the runner up and if things continue to go the way they are now in Philadelphia, he should be the favorite to win it this season. Hurts does so many things to beat you. He can pass in and out of the pocket as well as use his legs too. With the Brotherly Shove, the Eagles have allowed Hurts to score a lot of goal line TD’s this season. Hurts is a touchdown machine and is the key for what everything the Eagles are doing offensively. What is most impressive and what may win Hurts this award is the fact that he tends to come up big when it matters the most. He is considered clutch now in the NFL. He tends to always make the big plays to win Philly ball games. Jalen Hurts is on pace to win the MVP Award this season.

The Colts Will Move On From Jonathan Taylor

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (28) rushes the ball Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023, during a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The Running Back position is a position in the NFL that has become expendable despite some players at this position excelling. If you look at the LA Rams, we see Kyren Williams having a great season for them. Christian McCaffrey of the Sandy Francisco 49ers is looking like an MVP candidate this season. Rookie RB Bijan Robinson of the Atlanta Falcons is looking promising this season as well. The Indianapolis Colts have a star RB of their own in Jonathan Taylor. He started the season on the IR List and now he finds himself hurt yet again. The Colts are in a new situation where they want and need consistency. Their rookie QB Anthony Richardson looked extremely impressive in the few games he played this season before going down with a shoulder injury. He’s going to need someone in the backfield with him that he can depend on for a weekly basis. Jonathan Taylor is only getting older and his reliability level isn’t going in the right direction. It’s safe to say that the Colts will take any given opportunity to move on from him because he simply isn’t available enough for them and that isn’t going to help them win in this league.
