We are at a point in the NFL season where teams know who they are. They know what they excel at, where they need to improve at, and maybe even know who will be on the roster next season. They also know who will be starting for them next year too even if they are still focused on this season. Another thing teams know is if they are a playoff team or even a contender.

While the Washington Commanders haven’t been eliminated from making the playoffs, they know that their chances are slim to none for doing so. They know they’re not a contender. They know what they need to work on and improve at. They also know what they need to do in the draft.

They suffered another tough loss over the weekend at home against the Miami Dolphins. It got ugly as Tua Tagovailoa got hot and so did Tyreek Hill. Hill scored two touchdowns in this game. That comes as no surprise as he has entered into the MVP discussion, a conversation that is usually only about Quarterbacks.

Here is where things get interesting for the Commanders. Over the last four weeks, they have failed to win a single game. They played against Geno Smith, Tommy Devito, Dak Prescott, and of course Tua Tagovailoa. Those four QB’s have combined to throw 11 Touchdowns with 0 Interceptions.

Now, they fired their Defensive Coordinator in Jack Del Rio. However, we can expect more to come from this. The Commanders may have had a schematic problem, but they also have a talent problem as well. They need to improve that secondary in the draft because they are getting lit up in the back end.
