The 2025 Atlantic 10 (A-10) Men’s Basketball Tournament is underway at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., featuring 15 teams competing for an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Here’s a recap of the games played on Wednesday, March 12, and Thursday, March 13.
Wednesday, March 12 – First Round
No. 12 Davidson vs. No. 13 Richmond: Davidson edged out Richmond with a final score of 69-65.
No. 15 Fordham vs. No. 10 Rhode Island: Fordham secured a decisive victory over Rhode Island, winning 88-71.
No. 14 La Salle vs. No. 11 Massachusetts: La Salle defeated Massachusetts with a score of 78-71.
Thursday, March 13 – Second Round
No. 8 St. Bonaventure vs. No. 9 Duquesne: St. Bonaventure emerged victorious against Duquesne, winning 64-59.
No. 5 Saint Louis vs. No. 12 Davidson: Saint Louis defeated Davidson with a final score of 83-75.
No. 7 George Washington vs. No. 15 Fordham: George Washington defeated Fordham with a final score of 88-81.
No. 6 Saint Joseph’s Hawks vs. No. 14 La Salle Explorers: In a closely contested game, 6th-seeded Saint Joseph’s secured a 75-70 victory over La Salle.
The tournament continues with the quarterfinals on Friday, March 14, featuring matchups between the advancing teams and the top four seeds, who received double byes into this round.
