The NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching. This year’s deadline is set for Tuesday, November 10th, 2026 and the clock is ticking for many teams in the league at this time. There are many reasons why trades are significant for every team in the league. However, here are the top three teams that need to make a trade before the deadline to help their futures.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs look like a team that will win their division by default this season. The Chargers are hoping for a chance at the number one pick. The Raiders are figuring things out this season, preparing their rookie QB Fernando Mendoza for next season, and the Broncos have serious issues offensively. With that being said, the Chiefs could use a guy who can help out in the passing game as their running game looks phenomenal with Kenny Walker.
Options: WR Josh Downs (Colts), WR Hollywood Brown (Eagles), WR Tyreke Hill (Free Agent)
LA Chargers
Things couldn’t be any worse for the Chargers this season. They are the only winless team in the league. Their offense continues to take steps back year after year. Even with changes upstairs, bringing in an offensive minded coach in Mike McDaniel, this team still is struggling offensively. The common denominator is QB Justin Herbert. While he is still in his 20’s, now is the perfect time to trade him. They still can get a king’s ransom for him. Trading him to a team that can use a QB to save their season and a QB of the future makes a lot of sense.
Options: LA Rams, Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers
Minnesota Vikings
Don’t look now, but the Vikings are a team opposite of the Chargers, as they are the only undefeated team in the league. They have been met with many challenges this season. Their starting QB Kyler Murray was forced to miss time, beginning in the first game of the season. Their backfield has been banged up, and even Justin Jefferson too. Their defense has held down the fort and that may be the ultimate reason why they are undefeated still. It’s time for this team to break the bank and get a player that can really maintain their offense.
Options: RB Jonathan Taylor (Colts), RB Saquan Barkley (Eagles), WR George Pickens (Cowboys),
