CHARLOTTESVILLE,VA- With one week before Virginia (7-3) is set to take on their bitter rival Virginia Tech, in what we now know will be for the ACC Coastal Division and a chance to take on Clemson for the ACC Championship. UVA had to prepare for another in-state foe, the Liberty Flames (6-4). The Flames are coached by Hugh Freeze, who has given the Flames program a new swag in his first year. This contest was a competitive contest early, the second half would be a different story.

The Flames potential 2020 NFL Draft pick, Antonio Gandy-Golden had 6 catches, 60 yards and made a spectacular one-handed touchdown grab. LMS Network’s Senior College Expert, Jay Quimby thinks that Gandy-Golden could be 2nd round pick and could help teams like Eagles, Packers or 49ers. Frankie Hickson rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries for Flames.

The winner will head to the ACC Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina to take on the defending National Championship Clemson Tigers. Virginia (8-3) has not beaten Virginia Tech (8-3) since 2003, that’s 15 straight wins for the Hokies. Can Virginia finally break the streak?
