When you’re waiting for something and it finally happens, you feel a sense of relief. Now, no one enjoys seeing someone lose their job. We all have families and responsibilities to tend to. However, it is a feeling of hope when a change happens that will help the company in the long run. The Thanksgiving Bowl for the Washington Commanders was a game they didn’t quite feel thankful about after being routed by the Dallas Cowboys 45-10. The Cowboys are one of the best teams in the NFL at 8-3. Despite the fact they never seem to win against winning teams in the league, they are still considered a Super Bowl contender. However, giving up over 300 passing yards to go along with four touchdowns by Dak Prescott may have been a bit too much to handle for this franchise.

They also failed to force the Cowboys to commit any turnovers as well. That poor performance by the Commanders defensively forced them to fire Defensive Coordinator Jack Del Rio. Del Rio is a guy who is past his prime in the coaching department and even as a Defensive Coordinator too. This more than likely won’t be the last move made by the Commanders. Sometimes you just need a new face and a new voice for the franchise. That’s why Eric Bieniemy is there now. He has Sam Howell leading the NFL in passing yards. It will be interesting to see what may or may not happen with Head Coach Ron Rivera in the coming weeks.
