Who’s Your Team’s MVP? Every NBA Team MVP so far (3-9-20)

In a sense, Sports is a lot like Politics. There is always some form of debate when it comes to sports, especially the NBA. Who will win the Championship? Who needs to get traded? Which Coach is sitting on the hot seat? Who is the best player this season? Who is the MVP? That may actually be the biggest debate of them all. Every team has an MVP on their roster. A lot of the time, these MVP”s aren’t even the best player on their teams. MVP is the Most Valuable Player. In other words, the MVP should be your most important player. So here are every team’s respected MVP this season….
Atlanta Hawks: Trae Young
He’s magical on the court, from nut megging to shooting from almost halfcourt. He is the focal point of the offense.
Boston Celtics: Jayson Tatum
His development has been superb thus far. The scary thing is he’s only going to get better.
Brooklyn Nets: Taurean Prince
Prince is a great role player. Almost like a utility player, he will lock you down defensively and give you some efficiency hitting open shots as well
Charlotte Hornets: Devonte’ Graham
He may be the league’s most improved player. Graham has been on a tear this season. One of the league’s best 3 point shooters by far
Chicago Bulls: Zach Lavine
He was an All-Star Snub this year. The man can simply score the ball. He may be on a different roster next season. The Bulls would have the league’s worst offense if it wasn’t for him
Cleveland Cavaliers: Tristian Thompson
If you need a rebound, he’s your guy. He’s great defensively too, even off the switches on defense.
Dallas Mavericks: Luka Doncic
Luka is going to make a lot of money in his career. One of the best players in the league already in just year 2. The sky is the limit for this guy
Denver Nuggets: Michael Porter Jr.
He could easily be a star in this league. Injuries were a concern. Now healthy, he’s back with limited minutes. If Denver wants to be a serious title contender, they MUST play this kid.
Detroit Pistons: Derrick Rose
There weren’t too many bright spots for this team this season. But D Rose has clearly been their best player despite coming off the bench
Golden State Warriors: Eric Paschall
High energy, high motor player. Every team needs a guy like this. Paschall will be a key piece to this team once everyone gets healthy next season
Houston Rockets: Russell Westbrook
Going small ball has rejuvenated Westbrook’s career. Harden will depend on him a lot in the playoffs and so will the entire Rockets team
Indiana Pacers: Malcolm Brogden
Brogden has stepped up well in Oladipo’s absence. They needed a Guard to take pressure off Oladipo and he is clearly the perfect fit
LA Clippers: Kawhi Leonard
It’s Kawhi, Enough Said…
LA Lakers: LeBron James
The GOAT… LeBron does literally everything even in year 17. Lakers wouldn’t even be a playoff team if it wasn’t for him. He has them in first place in the West
Memphis Grizzlies: Ja Morant
Ja will win Rookie of the year. Very mature Guard in year one. Going to be really special
Miami Heat: Bam Adebayo
Starting Center, but running PG, Bam has transformed this team’s offense. With his Jokic like abiity, it has unlocked and evolved everyone’s game, including Jimmy Butler
Milwaukee Bucks: Giannis Antekoumpo
The Greak Freak does it all. He won MVP last season, he will win MVP this season too
Minnesota Timberwolves: Jarrett Culver
Culver is an underrated rookie with a skillset that possesses a lot of potential in today’s game
New Orleans Pelicans: Jrue Holiday
He is the grown man out of this talented team. He helps them not only with his skills, but also with his experience too
New York Knicks: Julius Randle
Randle is a star in this league. He doesn’t get any love but he does it all for this Knicks team
Oklahoma City Thunder: Chris Paul
A sneaky MVP runner this season. CP3 has took low expectations and completely turned it into making the playoffs
Orlando Magic: Markelle Fultz
From 0 to hero, Fultz holds the keys to being the savior of this franchise.
Philadelphia 76ers: Ben Simmons
The Sixers are begging for him to shoot the ball because they know along with the rest of the league that if Ben had a jump shot, or even attempted to shoot the ball, he would be the next LeBron James
Phoenix Suns: Ricky Rubio
He has taken so much pressure off of Devin Booker. He played a huge part in him finally becoming an All-Star. Rubio has been a true floor general
Portland Trail Blazers: Damian Lillard
Dame is the clear leader for this team. He’s their go to guy despite having a really talented roster
Sacramento Kings: Harrison Barnes
A former NBA Champion, Barnes is another player in the league that does what’s asked of him. He can score and defend and he could be your best player but he’s so skilled, he doesn’t even have to be because he can lock you down defensively when needed
San Antonio Spurs: DeMar DeRozan
DeRozan hasn’t had a great season. He is still talented and that is why he will be extremely valuable this summer for the Spurs. They should be able to start their rebuild with whatever they get back in return for DeRozan
Toronto Raptors: Pascal Siakam
He won most improved last year, and he made the All-Star team this year. Siakim has taken Kawhi’s place and has taken off for stardom.
Utah Jazz: Rudy Gobert
He is asked to carry the team defensively and his scoring has been up as well. They say this is Donavan Mitchell’s team, but Gobert is the best player on this roster and it’s not even close
Washington Wizards: Bradley Beal
He made a mistake in signing an extension but it has paid off for both parties. The wizards would be in single digits in the win column if it wasn’t for Beal. They’re pushing for the 8th seed now
