We paused on the front stretch with all crew members on the wall. All drivers parked in a moment of silence to take time to listen. What a powerful way to start this race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Kurt Busch will have to fall to the back and serve a pass through penalty due failing inspection. These will be the first laps that Chase Elliott will have led at Atlanta Motor Speedway. We can see amazing racing throughout the entire speedway. We have only raced roughly ten laps but speed has already fell off by at least a second. The competition caution happened and Chase lost multiple spots on pit road. Kevin Harvick made his way towards the front of the track. Kevin Harvick is a driver that knows his way around Atlanta Motor Speedway. Based on when stage one competition caution happened and the end of the stage we saw green flag pit stops. With less than twenty to go, Martin Truex Jr passed Kevin Harvick to lead several laps. Kevin Harvick has let his crew know that the adjustment did not help. There was an issue on pit road where multiple drivers made contacts. Martin Truex Jr will go on to win stage one.

We have had some great racing in stage two. The bottom is the line at this point for the fastest lane and seems to save tries the most. Clint Bowyer is having a great stage two.

However, Matin Truex Jr is quickly catching up to him in the closing stages. Martin Truex Jr was able to make the pass on Clint Bowyer. He has been winless in the mile and half tracks. Just before the end of stage two Michael McDowell spins out and brings out the cation. Which was much needed for Clint Bowyer.

Kyle Busch will lead us to green for the final stage. This stage will be fun and interesting with a lot of three and four wide racing. But Martin Truex Jr was able to get around Kyle Busch. Bowyer even with tire issues has managed to get back to the front to lead laps. Kevin Harvick was able to get out front and has a little over two second lead. With only nine other drivers on the lead lap, Kevin Harvick is pushing to win this race. Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr are both pushing to get to the front of the field to try to win. However, they did not have anything for Kevin Harvick.

He was able to secure the unofficial win until inspection is complete. He honored Dale Sr and the fans with his victory lap at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
