Washington Commanders went into Sunday’s game, looking to end a two-game losing streak, but things just wouldn’t go their way. At the beginning of the contest, Dallas got off to a quick start after knocking in 2 field goals (53,45 yards) from Brett Mahar giving Dallas the early 6-0 lead. Washington would take their only lead of the game on a 7-play, 65-yard drive capped off with a 10-yard touchdown pass from Carson Wentz to Jahan Dotson to take a 7-6 lead with 3:35 left in the 1st half. The touchdown was Dotson’s fourth in an impressive rookie season so far for the Commanders’ first-round pick. It was announced after the game Dotson will be out 1-2 weeks with a hamstring injury a tough blow for the Commanders. Before the end of the half, Dallas would put up an impressive drive of their own. The 15-play, 75-yard drive would end with a Michael Gallup 9-yard touchdown from Cooper Rush giving Dallas a 12-7 lead at the half.

Dallas would control the rest of the contest. Two more Brett Mahar field goals (28,29 yards) and a 30-yard touchdown pass from Cooper Rush to CeeDee Lamb would give Dallas a 25-10 victory and their third straight victory. Washington continues to try and find their rhythm on offense. In the last two weeks, the Commanders have been outscored 49-18. The defense has been solid, especially the play of Montez Sweat. Sweat seems to get better every week and gave Cooper Rush problems the entire game. Here are some of the postgame reactions from the Commanders players & Coach Rivera after the game…

Washington (1-3) heads home to host Derrick Henry & the Tennessee Titans (2-2) at FedEx Field on Sunday at 1 pm with hopes of ending their 3-game losing streak.
