Jonathan Taylor Earning His Way Into the Hall of Fame

Jonathan Taylor has quietly built a résumé that demands recognition, not just among today’s best running backs, but among the all-time greats. The Indianapolis Colts star continues to prove that he’s more than just a dynamic playmaker or even a one hit wonder as he continues to build a Hall of Fame career right before our very eyes. Taylor recently joined rare company, becoming only the fifth player since 2000 to record at least three scrimmage touchdowns in four or more games in a single season.

The other names on that list includes Marshall Faulk, LaDainian Tomlinson, Shaun Alexander, and Priest Holmes, who are either Hall of Famers or players widely considered to be among the greatest of their era. That distinction alone speaks volumes about Taylor’s talent and consistency. What sets Taylor apart is his ability to produce even when the Colts haven’t been at their best. Through injuries, coaching changes, and inconsistent quarterback play, Taylor has remained the one constant force in Indianapolis. His durability, professionalism, and work ethic have made him the heart of the Colts’ offense year after year. As his career totals continue to climb, Taylor’s mix of production, longevity, and impact will make his Hall of Fame case increasingly undeniable. He’s not just carrying the ball, he’s carrying the Colts’ legacy forward.

The New York Jets Finally Won a Game

The New York Jets can finally exhale. After a rocky start filled with frustration, setbacks, and controversy, the Jets earned their first win of the season with a road victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. While the Bengals were without their franchise quarterback Joe Burrow, the Jets didn’t care, because a win is a win, and for this team, it was desperately needed. It only took eight weeks of the season for the Jets to get just one win for the year. This season has been anything but smooth for New York, a franchise that seems to face adversity year after year.

Starting quarterback Justin Fields has struggled to find consistency, eventually being benched after multiple poor performances. The team has also had to endure public criticism from its own owner, who questioned whether the offense was even capable of completing a pass, comments that only added fuel to the fire. Head coach Aaron Glenn’s future has come under scrutiny as well, with doubts swirling about whether he’s the right man to lead the team forward. Add in a growing list of injuries, it’s easy to see why this first win feels like a breakthrough moment. For one week, at least, the Jets can celebrate progress. They’ve finally reminded themselves, and their fans, what winning feels like.
