(1) #12 Miami 83… #13 Stanford 76

Overtime thriller as Stanford erased a thirteen-point fourth quarter deficit to force overtime. At the same time, Miami never flinched as you will see a lot of the lower seeds fighting for survival in this tournament.  While Stanford had four players in double figures, they allowed 3 Miami players to each post 20-point games, with Ra Shaya Kyle leading the way with 25 points to help keep the Hurricanes’ hopes alive for an ACC title and NCAA tourney bid.  Miami (17-13) will advance to play fifth-seeded Notre Dame today.

(2) #10 California 75…#15 Wake Forest 52

Tenth-seeded California handles business as expected with senior Sakima Walker tallying a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the way along with second-team All-ACC guard LuLuTwidale adding 11 points and seven rebounds, and Gisella Maul and Aliyahna Morris each scored 10 points for the 10th-seeded Golden Bears (19-13).

(3) #11 Georgia Tech 72… #14 Florida State 60

In the final game of the first day, Georgia Tech controlled the game as they only logged seven players in the game and if they plan on making a run then those seven need to buckle up as they were led by La’Nya Foster who logged 40 minutes with 18 points and 8 rebounds.  Hopefully, they are conditioned enough to face the #6 seed Virginia Tech in the final game today.
