The Vegas Raiders made a radical change over the summer moving on from Quarterback Derek Carr. Carr has been solid for this franchise his entire career. In fact, he has been the glue guy and the most consistent guy as well. He was the heart and soul of the Raiders. He even was able to recruit one of the league’s best Wide Receivers in Devante Adams. Now that Carr is gone, they have turned to a Quarterback many had concerns over due to injuries, Jimmy Garappolo. He has dealt with concussions issues and now he is out with a back injury. Devante Adams has basically requested a trade and we all know Running Back Josh Jacobs already wants out. This team is trending downward. There is a definite rebuild coming and the Raiders know it. They drafted QB Aidan O’Connell out of Purdue is this past NFL Draft. With Jimmy G OUT, the Raiders ultimately decided to start veteran Brian Hoyer. He ended up getting benched after throwing two interceptions and O’Connell relieved him. O’Connell ended up throwing a pick too. However, he did manage to move the ball and got a touchdown in as well. With those three interceptions, the Raiders loss to the Chicago Bears 30-12. Many wonder why didn’t the Raiders start the rookie Aidan O’Connell in the first place. The Raiders will be looking for O’Connell as this season goes on, even when Jimmy Garappolo gets healthy.

Jordan With No Love

One of the hardest things in life is to take over a particular job from someone who was great at their job. It could be at a company where the individual was there for a great amount of time. During their tenure, they have made some really good relationships with the other employees and staff. They have been through a lot of ups and downs and have made the best out of every situation they have been in. Once that individual retires, you have to go through all the training all over again and have to try to rebuild the partnership again as well. That is the case with the Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love. The Packers have some weapons that can get the job done. However, Jordan Love hasn’t shown that he is the guy or that he even will become the guy either. He simply has a hard time moving the ball. The running game isn’t there either as teams are knowing the Packers don’t fully trust in Jordan Love. Opponents will stack the box and shut down any rushing attack the Packers throw at them. That forced Jordan Love to throw the ball and it simply hasn’t worked. The Packers have now fallen to 2-4 and the clock is already ticking on Jordan Love.
