The Virginia Tech Hokies are now 2-7 on the season and losers of 6 straight games. The Hokies have suffered 1-point losses in their last two games after leading heading into the 4thquarter of both games. The Hokies lost 22-21 to the NC State Wolfpack on the road then came home and had a 28-27 loss to the visiting Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets These last two losses have all but sealed the Hokies’ chances of playing in a Bowl game this season or being competitive in the ACC.

The 2-7 record is surely not what new Head Coach Brent Pry was expecting in his inaugural season in Blacksburg. The team has been up and down for most of the season. There have been moments where one side of the ball has been able to put things together while the other side struggles to muster anything.

Hopefully, this season will give the coaching staff and younger players some much-needed experience to parlay into better outcomes next season. Another round of good recruiting will help this team as well. Above all the Hokies will need to find someone that can command this offense and consistently put points on the board. offense and consistently put points on the board.
